hIn November, the Poetry Slam Show celebrated its premiere in the "Outback" restaurant in Lindlar. Jana Goller, the young author from Wipperfürth, invited journalist Fatima Talalini. The second edition will take place on December 15th. Self-written poems, short stories and pieces of text are brought to the stage with short interludes.
The Duisburg author Malte Küppers will be a guest in December. He packs the daily impressions of the Ruhr area into his texts, which have brought him to poetry slam stages across the country and several championships, including the semi-finals of the German-speaking championships and the finals of the team and NRW state championships. The social worker and trained de-escalation and anti-racism trainer describes his environment and thoughts with a dose of humour, a critical eye and a good pinch of nonsense. After participating in several anthologies, the winner of the Vestische Literatureule 2020 and winner of the Uwe Kaschinski Kleinstkuh-Ehrenpreis then published his first book in 2021 with Lektora-Verlag under the title “When two people argue, a third one comes along”.
Tickets for the show are available on the restaurant's website (https://outback-lindlar.de/).
